How can I find out if this girl likes me or not?

no I know what you mean. I liked this guy a lot. he sat near me in class. I was so nervous I just took the easy way out by not talking to him much. Then I was soooo sad because he left the class and got back together with his gf. I lost my chance! dont lose yours!!!!Really!
