How can I find out if my food stamp card has been mailed off or not?

Because I did an interview with DFCS on the 9th of this month and they told me I would get it within seven days. I applied for stamps back in April and they told me I would get them and they keep telling me the same excuses and I haven’t got them yet. Went I went to the interview, they thought I had my food stamps and he showed me paper telling how much I was getting and how much was spent. I’m trying to keep a check on it and trying to find out what’s going on and why they are giving me the run around. Thanks!

You contact your local family support center where you applied for the food stamps. I had the same problem when we were on them. I had to almost harass them daily before they finally sent me my card two weeks later then they were supposed to. If you call and they havent mailed it, offer to go pick it up instead.

Well, the thing is, one of my husband’s friends had this problem to and she asked them if the card could be sent to the office for her to pick it up there and they let her. But when I told them what heard about her and asked If I could have it done that way too, they said I couldn’t. So I can’t pick up the card from the office.
