Is it just me, or is it that the filter for mature updates has some holes in it?

I mean, I keep seeing updates that really should be under All Updates, if you ask me.

Answer #1

oh, i agree with you! lol

Answer #2

You could always help out and click on the “Not mature” button. Or maybe only I can see that ‘cause I’m an advisor… damn… I don’t know. xD Colleen can shed more light into this than I can though.

Answer #3

Yeah lol, I think this magical button is only for Advisors/Administrators (Did I spell that right?) :)

Answer #4

Certain words just fall under the mature filter as a precautionary action. If you see something that is in mature and shouldnt be - you can ask an admins or advisor to move it.

Some however will stay regardless. Using swear words, sexual words, illegal substance related words, etc will all land a question or status update in mature to keep the boards clean and keep the sponsers happy.

Answer #5

Administrators, yep, you did. xD

Answer #6

Yup! The mature filture definitely has some. It’s just because of the words they filter that gets automatically moved to mature. Many words have different meanings and could be mature and not mature.

Answer #7

Well I think if perople have a question they should ask it. Some people think it is mature and others do big woop.. like some people will answer it some won’t. If u wana know something then ask it. Ik I would rather find out the answer to something then always think about it. If u dnt like it then jus ignore the question and move on…

Answer #8

Advisors and Admins have that ability, however, there’s a bug - when we move something to or from Mature, it returns to the place it was originally every time someone opens it … therefore, I tend to not move things unless it’s absolutely necessary (until the problem is fixed)

Answer #9

I think you missed the point of the question

Answer #10

Answer #11
