When my ferret is playing with us she will get all hyper, then she will just lay down on her stomach, flat and streched out. I thought it was just her playing that that she wanted me to come to her, but she didnt do anything, just laid there. I laid down in front of her and she just watched me. After a about a minute she got up and walked to bed.
i have a ferret. he does that all the time when he is sleeping or just in his cage. but when i take him out he is happy and peppy and jumping around. so he could possibly be sick if thats all he ever does.
it could be sick, or dehydrated. or it couldve hurt its legs. or just lazy. try a vet
