You’re having a period. There is nothing to be ashamed of or embarrassed about, be proud hunny :)

go to a pharmacy, it’s more of a clinical environment, so you may feel less self-conscious, I know it feels like everyone is looking at you but you buy the pads or tampons, buying products to ease your ‘monthly period’ is no different…

and if you have a mum and sister, I am fairly confident that they too have had a rough period at times, you may find that they have their own remedy…if not, they might cut you a bit of slack while your on…(hot water bottles on tap can be a HUGE bonus ;) )

don’t freak out or be embarrassed, you have NOTHING to be embarrassed about!

For me I had bad cramps when I was 12 and got my period. I was put on Birth Control at 12 yr old. It was easier to know when it was coming, so I would take 2 ibprofuen, and relax. A heating pad would be helpful, they are at the pharmacy, but you have cramps because your uterus is shedding its lining.

Motrin works great! Maybe take a hot bath, that’s always a nice way to ease cramps… And you don’t have to be worried about buying womens products. Your a girl and everyone does it. The cashier won’t think anything of it! Promise! ;)

Answer #4

Any pain reliever will help you - just make sure you eat something to go along with it. Or ask your doctor about birth control if your cramps are super bad, it can help.
