what are your feelings on organ and tissue donation?
I am a registered to donate and I always encourage others to do the same
I’m registered too and all for it. It’s the last chance to help someone in need and I wish everyone would be a donor and maybe eliminate the “black market” for organs which is a terrible thing.
I’ve seen first hand what organ donation has done for someone………..from that day forward I became a donor (20 years ago).
Now, there is a distinction: I will donate any life saving or life improving organs, but not to science for the sake of “studying”. When the organs needed are taken, it’s time for my loved ones to lay me to rest for their sake.
Did you know a donated heart for example is only good for 5 hours? That means they get right on it and find a “match” without hesitation.
