Why do I feel so sick and upset all of a sudden when I've had such a great week? D;

Answer #1

Maybe you have a virus? You could be depressed? I can’t really tell you, can you give more details? Like what kind of sick, vomiting, stomach ache, etc? what do you mean by upset, sad, mad?

Answer #2

I just feel like wanting to cry and stuff. I feel tired and weak. I’ve been sleeping regularly now, but today I could hardly even control my vision (blurring) and I’ve been having lots of headaches now. I don’t know why I feel like this, I had a great week having fun and whatnot.

Answer #3

what sick do you mean?

Answer #4

Well, you could have depression, but I am not for sure. I would suggest talking with your doctor about what is going on. He will be able to diagnose the problem better than I can. Sometimes these symptoms come from not eating, however if you have been eating, then it can’t be that.

Answer #5

I’ve been eating, even when I don’t feel hungry, just to make sure I’m getting nutrients. I don’t think it’s depression because the only depressing thing was 2 months ago. I don’t know, all of a sudden I just felt this way.

Answer #6

Well, Like I said, try talking with your doctor. I’m sure he will know what is wrong, and be able to help.

Answer #7

Also, people that have depression aren’t just depressed when something happens. I have depression, you get depressed for no reason at all…

Answer #8

Thanks for the advice. I’ll tell my doctor when I get back. Another thing I had today was several times while driving, my vision blacked out and I almost hit a stop sign. Could that be related to a depression?

Answer #9

smoke some bud. it will make you feel much better

Answer #10

There is a lot that could be the cause of what you are experiencing…I don’t think depression causes black-outs or anything, but it could be blood-pressure, vestibular disorder, abnormalities…a lot of things…My best advice is talk to the doctor, tell him everything that has been happening. They will be able to figure out what it could be.

Answer #11

Thank you. So much for the summer fun, huh? :)

Answer #12

Not if he has something serious it won’t. He needs to go to a doctor and see if it is something serious or not. Something serious left untreated can be EXTREMELY dangerous.

Answer #13

LOL….your welcome.

Answer #14

This comment made me laugh, Jacob. I bet bud makes everything better, huh?

Answer #15

Some of those symptoms sound like depression yes, but what it sounds more like is that there is an underlying physical cause that is manifesting itself in the emotional symptoms as well as the blurriness and vision black out. Generally speaking, even if there are only emotional/cognitive symptoms, you always go to the doctor to rule out physical causes, because sometimes it is a physical problem causing the emotional distress. Bottom line is, go get checked out to make sure you’re ok.

Answer #16

That sounds like it makes sense. I’ll get checked out as soon as I come home.

Answer #17

LOL

Answer #18

Please dont drive? You could kill someone. That would be bad?

Answer #19

Yes, it would be bad. I’ll drive carefully so I don’t endanger people on the road.

Answer #20

Sigh. Ok, because I am stubborn too and have probably driven when I shouldnt have, I do just want to point out that you cannot control passing out, and you cannot control the car when you’re passed out, and so however carefully you drive, if you pass out, well…

Answer #21

awesome advice Angelee, couldnt have said any better myself!

I will add something though…sounds like you may have a case dealing with your eyes…vision is a serious thing, it can cause some the things you have mentioned…like the blurriness…headaches can also be due to dehydration…have you been drinking a lot of water…it so so important to stay hydrated at all times…dehydration may also cause all of these…blurriness, headaches, need for sleep & feeling weak…sometimes even nausea & may even cause vomiting!
make sure you are drinking 8(8 once glasses of water) minimum a day especially in the summer heat!

Consult your doctor as well of the symptoms, that one thing about you feeling like you want to cry is deff a case of depression right there…something is troubling you & may not know it because it is in your subconscious…it’s not just a cold…his desire to cry is definitely due to some sort of emotional stress perhaps….something troubling you, issues of the heart…perhaps battling with an agenda at school or work…there is deff something there…i sure hope you find out what is troubling you & deal with it so you feel better! we are here for you if you need any more help! ♥

Answer #22

I do stay hydrated throughout the day. I drink maybe about 6 12 fl oz. bottles of water a day. I don’t know about my eyes though, I mean I know my vision isn’t perfect but this is different. I’m not 100% depressed, but a breakup 2 months ago has changed me as a person. Other than that, I try to be around happy things and whatnot. I will see a doctor about this, hopefully he can help me. I’m just afraid to find out something really bad. :(

Answer #23

This is one of those times where you wish you had a friend in the car who came along, right?

Answer #24

I dont think it is that serious could also be the stress…and a little about the breakup…perhaps your not leading on what you are really feeling deep down under…like I said, all signs point in that direction with a stir in a little eye sight issues maybe it would be better to see a neurologist, but hey I am no shrink nor any other sort of doctor…its not my call, just calling it as I see it.

Hope it nothing a little rest & calming down a bit wont cure! good luck♥

Answer #25

I’ve been resting quite a bit actually. I used to get around 3 hours of sleep, and now I get about 6 hours a night. I’ll wait until I drive home Friday to see a doctor, but if it gets worse, then I’ll just pack up an leave earlier. Would rather treat it now than later when it’s worse, ahaha.

Answer #26

absolutely…your body has been telling you for a long time now “hey slow down, we need some rest here not some crash 3 hour sleep routine!” also another cause…you see, all in all my prognosis is correct…you are hiding things inside, emotional physical & spiritual stress…like it or not your body will tell you things but you need to listen to it…pay attention, if you are studying too much your eyes will be strained… if you are partying too much then your body is going to tell ya hey we cant stand up…if you are drinking too much then your body will tell you hey I am rejecting this alcohol…just pay attention to the signs…your heart is aching believe it or not & its telling you by you wanting to cry & be alone…your are feeling nauseated & dizzy because your body is telling you something as well…find out what it is…:)

Answer #27

as if…doesn’t make it better just makes you not feel anything! doesn’t help the situation only prolongs the pain!

Answer #28

most definitely…so be on guard & alert!

Answer #29

Yeah, I understand. I don’t party or drink or anything like that, so I don’t need to worry about alcohol. So far, I’ve been feeling a bit better, but it’s still there. As for the sleep, my body is very used to little sleep, and it kind of frustrates me because I really enjoy sleeping, I just can’t sleep. I’m not the kind of guy who would have Insomnia though, unless I “grew” it, right? Oh well, maybe I’ll just take a pill and try to sleep. If not, you can expect me here. :D
