Do you ever feel ashamed or embarassed when all you buy something on sale?

No. I have never really understood that attitude. Some people seem to compete in spending more $$$ for less stuff. “This pair of jeans with the wholes already in it cost me $120).

My friends and I compete with how much we can get for spending the smallest amount possible, and still get quality items. “these jeans - $5, on sale :D, everything I’m wearing all together didn’t cost over $30.”

no way! sales are awesome! I once had a friend who bought a pair of uggs on sale but bragged to everyone about how “wealthy” she is because she can afford to buy expensive things. Well I found out she was lying the whole time about paying full price for the uggs when I saw the box in her room one day when we were hanging out with a clearance sticker on them with the reduced price. I don’t know why someone would be embarrassed to buy something on sale or on clearance. heck! they even have really rad things at thrift stores, and you can be creative and cut up a 2 dollar shirt from the thrift store and make it look really sweet! but I digress. bottom line - sales rock! learn to spend money wisely by becoming a smart shopper at a young age so you can carry on these habits into the future and save yourself quite a lot of bux!

I have felt ashamed – not going to lie. I have passed up certain sale items because it made me feel like I was rather unfortunate money wise. I hate that feeling, as I’m sure we all do. At the same time, though, I really don’t have a lot of money to spend. So I do often give in to other sales when I can.

No way. It doesn’t make you poor for buying things on sale, it makes you a better shopper, and you can buy ten times more things then you could if you were to buy things that were not on sale.

Not at all. I never buy anything simply because its on sale. A bargain is not a bargain if it isnt something you would be willing to pay full price for! But if you like it, and you can get it for cheaper its just an added bonus and nothing to be embarrassed about. Especially if its clothing. Clothing has such insanely high markup. Even on sale you are probably paying a whole lot more than what it cost to produce it.

NEVER!! I’m always proud of myself when I get a good bargain (I would rather tell people that I got a good deal then telling them I paid full price).
