L.E. Medesitt writes some good ones. I'd recommend any of the "Saga of Recluce" series.
I started with "Fall of Angels" and skipped around from there. It's more science fantasy, but still very entertaining. I must have read about 5 or six of his books while I was in Iraq.

Im reading Terry Brooks "Magic kingdom for sale-sold" Book. You guys should read it, even though it sounds pretty stupid..ha. But yeahh, its pretty good.
