I don't think I do but according to my BMI I am overweight. Things like bmi are inaccurate and are not a good indicator of health. It only takes weight and height into consideration. It doesnt calculate body fat, muscle mass, bones, or any other part. It can't tell you your heart rate, or how strong you are. It is just a number that has little meaning. I have a 17% body fat so by no means am i overweight, so dont ever let your bmi get you down

Good critique! Also, since there's not really a single "healthy weight" for all people of a certain age, gender, and height (too many other variables), BMI only compares your weight to the average among people like you. But who's to say the average weight is the best weight for anyone?
On the other hand, for people who are just beginning to tune in to questions about their health, fitness, and weight, I still think BMI has some (limited) value as a simple starting point.
Nope I wouldn't say fat, but fat is a term that is used loosely. 17% body fat is in the normal range, and BMI is a very deceptive and highly misused tool. People with a lot of muscle mass would be considered fat if you only used the BMI system to assess them. I'd say you just look solid, certainly not fat, but again we all define fat differently. A supermodel might consider fat to be anyone with more than 10% body-fat, lol.
Yep, I feel your pain there. Several friends and I go to the gym regularly, and after several years of exercise, the BMI system has certainly become unflattering. The only measurements I am interested in now are blood pressure, resting heart-rate, cholesterol-level and body-fat percentage...
i know i was just trying to get a point across that BMI is a load of crap and people shouldnt care about what it tells them they are.
Not at all! I think you look wonderful :) If i relied on BMI, i'd have to go annorexic to be normal. Haha
The figure is good.Don't value to what others say you,the happy of yourself is the most important.
sigh... i know im not fat it was more of a rhetorical question to get a point across
