How do you explain colors to someone that is blind?

Answer #1

i honestly dont think you can. It is hard to describe it to them and have them understand if they have never seen them.

Answer #2

well actually i guess you could do what the colours repersent. Blue is the colour of sadness, pink is love, red is angry, exc. and see if that helps. that is the only way i can think of explaining colours

Answer #3

oddly enough a color is actually a sound wave. but still not sure how you would explain it

Answer #4

I agree with Bekka, besides interperting colors as ways of moods and feelings, I don’t know how you could deely explain the concept of it. Just like your other senses I’d say it brings stimulation to your eyes such as music does to your ears :)

Answer #5

I think it is not possible to explain colors to blind people.

Answer #6

A light wave. Not a sound wave.

Answer #7

Answer #8

Answer #9

yes, but you’ve already assigned colors to the emotions. who’s to say red isn’t sad and blue isn’t love?

Answer #10

That’s like asking how you explain those sounds that other animals can hear but we can’t to a human. You can’t.

Answer #11
