Are you excited to see the Hunger Games & have you read the series?

I’m kind of excited not as excited as I was a week ago. I read the first book, and I remember the lady from Barnes & Nobles saying “You’re gonna want to read the rest of the series after reading that book” and at first I was like “yeah right” in my head but after reading it and realizing it was a series I told my mom “mommie the lady from bn was right I want the next book NOW” lol

Answer #1

I havent read them and I have no idea what they or the movies are about.

Answer #2

Yes I’ve read the series but I’m not excited for the movies unless they’re like the Harry Potter movies. Movies made from books regularly don’t give the book justice.

Answer #3

Im watching Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets right now :)

Answer #4

Yes I’ve read the books, and i am quite excited but i don’t want to get my hopes up because they might turn out like the twilight movies did - ruining the book. The movie may end up awkward or, hopefully turn out to be good.

Answer #5

The Hunger Games is based on the world after it ended (?). Each year one boy and one girl from each district to participate in the hunger games. Another person in your district may volunteer and take your spot, but it’s rare when that ever happens. Primrose Everdeen, Katniss’s little sister was chosen. Katniss flips out and volunteers to take her little sister’s spot in the Games. I don’t really feel like typing the rest.

Answer #6

I loved the books, but think the only movie that would be good would be the third installment. Bookwise, the first one was the best. But, the cast seems okay, except for who they got for Katniss, Jennifer Lawrence doesnt have the confidence and brutal side Katniss needs to have.

Answer #7

Honestly, I’ve heard of the books but I’ve never read them. The trailer confuses the he.ll out of me, I have no idea what’s going on. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I feel like the may be similar to the Twilight craze, and I am not ready for that.

Answer #8

I haven’t read the books but my school did this thing where they sold around 1000 tickets for the premiere and a third of the money they made went to a local charity. :)

Answer #9

What are the hunger games though?

Answer #10

No & no. I haven’t read the books, although apparently they are really good. I’m not planning on seeing the movie, either. I just think the fact that everyone is going crazy over the whole thing all of a sudden is kind of annoying. I know that’s stupid, but oh well haha. I’m not doubting that the movie will be great, it’s just not something I’m really into in the first place.

Answer #11

I have not but my girlfriend has, so i told her we would see it together…. I also told her the only way i would enjoy the book, is if she came over read it out too me.

Answer #12

Havent read the books (i really should) and dont exactly know what they are about. but of all the movies ever i am looking forward to seeing it the most. Everytime the trailer comes on tv like it makes me wanna see it more. haha

Answer #13

I haven’t read them yet but i want to.
