How do I get my ex out of my house?

I went through a divorce almost a year ago, we bought a house after we were married and my name is the only name on the loan. I’m in the military and can’t and will not be around drugs. She started using about 1 1/2 year into the marrige and I tried to get her off of them and explain to her I can’t be around that stuff ( I work on aircraft), and there is no tolerance for drugs in the military. All it would take is one dope seed in my car going threw the gate and a dog smell it and my carreer is over. So after trying to make it work and clean her up nothing seemed to work so I gave her the choice…drugs or our marrige and she took the drugs. I had to get out of the house, so I moved in with a friend and am now living in an appartment. The divorce papers stated she would buy the house from me for what is left owed on it. Although, there was never a set time for which this had to be done. The problem is, its in my name and if she don’t make the payment, I get stuck with the bill and altimatley it goes on my credit if the payment is not made. I’m begging for help here, I’ve tried everything in my power without dumping thousands into a lawyer, to either get her out of the house or have her purchase it from me. If anyone out there can help me or has been through this please let me know and what I can do. Thank you very much.

If the house is in your name, you should simply be able to make the choice of whether you want to sell what you own of it to her or stay on living there alone paying the mortgage. Many people have drug problems, if you take her to court this will increase the chance of you getting back your home and being able to leave her behind. I’m only 14 so i don’t know how these things work but everyone has rights, and you have the right to a house that YOU paid/are paying for as long as you are the main outcome towards the mortgage.
