English essay: my name

I have to write an essat for english about my name. I already wrote about how I love my name what it means and who I am named after in full detail but it doesnt even take up a full page and the essay has to be 2 pages long does any one have any suggestions about what I can write about my name is marissa by the way :)

I agree with topazeyes. You could talk about where your name comes from. And topaz is right about your name being unique, since it’s spelled with 2 s’s instead of 1.

Again, adding onto topazeyes’ comment, the Latin Origin “Of the Sea” would be “Maris of the Sea”.

Dang, I wish I had cool assignments like this.

Erm, you mentioned what your name translates into? Like Marissa (beautiful name by the way) is of Latin origin for ‘OF The Sea’, you could maybe say that its true if you feel a like connection with the water, you know if you’re a born swimmer, or you feel at peace there. That might take up some room and can go into a metaphorical mode of writing to elaborate on it. Maybe say who chose your name. You could say you’re name is unique, (maybe where you live its not commonly used compared to other people’s names), so is special in that way too.If you need anymore help, just let me know :D xo
