Energy drinks... they are really this bad?

I tried one out of curiousity.. and I have to say “wow”… Not only does it taste bad it also messed me up… im having a headache.. an unhelpfull increase of heartbeat rate and depression. How can some take this stuff every day?!

I like the taste…of some anyway. The Venom ones are way good and my favorite, I prefer the Black Mamba flavor over the Mojave Rattler flavor though. And Amps are also one of my faves. But you should try the Black Mamba Venom. I’m a caffeine addict for sure, but you’re right, energy drinks are too intense for everyday consumption, even for me. So I stick to Mountain Dew and have an energy drink once or twice a month.

I’m not sure how correct this is, but I heard on the radio one time that there’s estrogen (female hormones) in one (or more of them) and octane (used for cars) in another… It only brings your energy levels up for a short period of time so what goes up, must come down. lol I’ve never tried any of them before, so I don’t know what the big fuss is about. I’m more of a Starbuck’s person. :)

Tolerance, maybe? I don’t know. I really enjoy the taste of energy drinks. Why not use the 5-hour energy things? They taste kinda like juice and are wayy healthier. Hmm,that’s what usually happens. You crash after a short while, depression, headache, etc etc. **I do not drink energy drinks anymore. :D

They effect everyone differently. Try a different type or a smaller amount if you ever decide to drink energy drinks again. Some, like the concentrated energy ‘shots’, pack a more intense punch that can leave you flushed and jittery. I like most kinds, though some taste better than others. I don’t drink them on a regular basis but my faves are Sugar Free Red Bull and Monster Mocha Coffee. Yum.
