Sure it is. It’s a pretty good job. Long hours though and you see many different things.
I just read a list of the 10 worst jobs of 2011, and EMT was on it. For that reason, I’m going to go with no. However, if it’s something you really want to do because you like helping people, go for it.
Wow it took me a while to figure out what you meant by EMT! - I thought you meant an electron microscopy technician! Anyway, if thats what you want to do and you enjoy workig with peoploe then I think it would be a very rewarding job. It may not be easy, but its better to do something you really like, rather than trying to find whatever job is easiest. A more challenging job is going to be more interesting I think.

Do you like helping people to the point that you would put your health and safety on the line? Can you handle the blood and trauma you will come in contact with? It’s tough to answer those questions until you experience it but if you answered yes then go for it!
