I mean i went to the employment agency and fill out my application and then the secretary told me there was nothing available, she toldme there was only job for women, but even when i told her so i can come back tomorrow very early when the agency open and she toldme to call them, i was kind of dissapointing because the agency earns money when they send somebody to work, but call by phone or email, thats not fun i prefer to see the person face to face, but i guess they dont want people who takes the initiative. Also she said we have jobs only for women today. that would be discrimination and also is a lame excuse. What do you think?
Some jobs are more specific towards women than men while others are more specific towards men than women. It's not discrimination. If she says there is nothing available for you, then that's just it. There are no jobs at the moment. Basically there is no point in you coming to the agency and for her to make an appointment with you tomorrow if there's nothing new. It's not about having fun.
The employment agency doesn't pick and choose what jobs they have available - it's the employers who send them the requests, and it's the employers who decide what requirements must be met.
The employment agency is there to try and match you up to a job position that an employer asked them to fill ... they aren't there to create a job just because you took the initiative and stopped by.
