no you dont atall. im not emo and I did it before. its not an emo thing. some emo people are associated with being ‘emotinal’ hence the short term emo. be your own person

My cousin is emo and he does not cut himself. I don’t know how old you are, but that is rediculous if you believe you have to cut yourself to be emo. Be smart and don’t start!!

emo isn’t people. it’s a genre of music. if they cut themselves that means that they have psychological issues that need to be taken care of.
