Emancipation in oregon; please read and help!

Well, a 13 year old wont get far with mp3 & everything they want. She probably noticed tha its all B.S and that you want to get rid of her like an old pair of jeans. Try showing her some love. And then maybe she will start acting like shes loved.

Its not just a teenage hate; theres a big story with it;

I can not wait until our child turns 16. I will personally emancipate her my self!!! my husband and I have given this child whom is 13 right now every thing you can imagine.Every thing from MP3 Players, her own DVD player, cell phones, etc… She is never satified or happy. If I try to help her with her homework she cops an attitude.. She all the time gives my husband and myself HELL. Never any appreciation for anything.

There are three ways to become Emancipated:

• Get married
• Join the military
• Go to court

We’ll assume choice three is the easiest. You need to go to court and ask a judge for the right of emancipation. You must give your parents notice, however. Your mother must consent, and this will probably be easily done at court. Explain your side and give your mother a chance to explain hers. Tell the judge everything that has happened, how you truly feel, and the judge will with accept or reject the request.
