dude I want to be emancipated too

The real question is “Why”. Unless you are being abused then ther is no good reason! If home life is bad then turn to someone in the family to help.

if you’re abused you won’t get emancipated, you’ll become a ward of the court and put in a foster home. if you’re absolutly sure you want to be emancipated, just know that it takes a long time, and you shouldn’t go into it with really high hopes. do you have a job? one of the requirements is that you can financially support yourself. you’re not even 16 yet, I don’t know if they’d let you. because you have to have a car, you have to have a house or at least somewhere that you can live most importantly you have to have a good reason to get emancipated. it can’t just be “I hate my parents” or “my parents are too strict”, it has to be a reason they aren’t suitable as parents. and like I said. if it’s abuse (whether physical or emotional), you’ll become a ward of the state. there are a lot of different requirements depending on where you live. google search for age limits and everything else. trust me, there’s a LOT to think about. also realize you’d be leaving your parents. I know that sounds very “duh”, but they’d still be your birth parents, but in every other sense, they’d probably be pretty p*ssed at you and they might not forgive you and take you back if something doesn’t work out.
