okay, today I've downloaded::
Handbrake Videora VLC media player
And have failed at all them. and some random programs that dont seem to do anything I keep getting confused and don't understand what things like 'GUI (Intel Only, DMG)' mean >.< I could just buy a movie from Itunes, but I already have it on DVD so I don't see much point. Does anyone know a really easy program/ way to get movies onto my ipod? cause im such a noob at this ;)

DVD movies purchased or rented from stores have copyright protections. Whats your problem with handbrake? It is simple, start it, insert dvd, select movie, select destination format (iphone in your case) and press: RIP, after some minutes (hours) waiting you got a perfect mp4 for your ipod!
