I had my lower two wisdom teeth removed a week ago today. I was good and still have not used any straws, or eaten anything that would cause a dry socket. I haven't been swollen for a few days, but today when I woke up the right side of my jaw had swelled immensly and it hurts. Did I accidentally give myself a dry socket?
you would know if you have it cause it would hurt so bad you wouldn't be able to stand it...you wouldn't be able to sleep or eat or even talk...if you have this you will need to call your dentist to have him call you out some prescription pain relievers (not tylenol 3's) they don't work...I've been there
