What do drugs make you feel like?

ok firts believe it or not I’m not interested in doing drugs. they really aren’t my thing, I’ve seen people get really screwed up with drugs and I know it can mess your life up. so no worries there, spare me the lecture. but I have some questions!! lol, I know this sounds stupid but I want to know. What do meth or marujana (didn’t spell that right did I?), or kocain, or anything else make you feel like? do they make you all happy or do they make you see things hahaha? let me know I’m SO curious and if I ask my parents they’ll think I’m trying to do drugs.

I believe there is no risk with marijuana per se but as for meth, coke, etc. there is tremendous potential for harm. addiction, loss of income, loss of life. marijuana is perceived as a gateway drug, that it leads to other stronger drugs. I smoked for many years, have a masters, am in the process of my phd, excellent job, nice family but I have never done anything stronger than smoke. I do not recommend anything stronger. I also don’t recommend it for anyone your age. sorry but that is the case. I agree with amblessed -

‘Some use it as an escape from reality - unfortunately, when the high is over, the problems are still there…’

addiction is addiction and you can become addicted to many things. drugs (illegal and legal such as alcohol), food and religion to name a few.

life is about making mature, well informed decisions not decisions based on peer pressure.

Answer #2

my boyfriend smokes marijuana and he says it relaxes him, takes his mind off stress and makes him worry-free I have tried it (a few puffs lol) but I didnt like it and didnt c the big deal but I guess everyone has their own reasons for doing drugs

Answer #3

I must add here that though I believe that marijuana should be legalized, I do not support or condone other drugs.

Answer #4

well herowin is another type of drug its a really bad 1 cause you get addicted 2 it and you are messed up when you dont have it after you get addicted 2 it but normal when you have it.and magic mushrooms make you hilusinate some are really good hillisunation(dont now how 2 spell it) and some are really scary ones

Answer #5

they can make you happy, sad, see things, depressed, even lead you to kill yourself. it depends on the person really. drugs are bad, but yes I probably dont nee to tell you all that, you seem like a responsible person. but yeah, they can make you feel anything from nothing, to extreem happiness/depression. they also lead to a very high amount of bad side affects

Answer #6

My sister does cocaine and smokes a lot of pot, she says it makes her feel really happy and giddy inside. Makes her feel like everything is perfect and when shes high it makes her feel like all her problems are gone away. Apparently some of the harder drugs make everything look like a cartoon and all kinds of weird stuff. I’ve heard a lot of drugs make you happy, but its only temporary happiness so its probley not worth it. I think people use it as an escape, but it ends up making things worse in the long run. It can drive people to insanity and crazy addiction for sure.

Answer #7

yes, each peson must decide to try “harder” drugs. but many who smoke and realize that marijuana is not an evil, mind-altering drug decide to try something more. it can open the “gate”.

Answer #8

marijuana opens your mind in ways you never thought possible. it gives you a very different perspective on your life and even helps you realize how conditioned we are by our society. . if you are curious about marijuana then I recommend you to try it and then make a desition based on your perception of it. a personal desition. but not a choice made for you by your parents.

Answer #9

Well reality… they all make you happy somehow. Further more, long term use of such drugs, or even just once or twice is the opposite of making you happy. You pay the price to be happy with drugs! They can get rid of your problems for the short term, but make them even worse after the effects are gone. Drugs are innappropiate, all of them.. ;)

Answer #10

Some use it as an escape from reality - unfortunately, when the high is over, the problems are still there…Take care !!

Answer #11

well seems like your curious, I used to be in that position I would never do hard drugs

lol dont listen to what people tell u, its all misleading information you need to do your own research and see for urself

These are some of the comments I have copied from a forum

-pharmaceuticals are known to kill more people than illegal drugs

-marijuana is the number 1 cash crop in the world it serves as a natural medicine and has many other uses thats why they prohibited it so big companies can make more profit thanks to “bad journalism”

-can also help aids patients, aids diminishes appetite have them smoke a joint and they regain their appetite counteracting the illness

-no one can die from smoking cannabis and has been no known deaths compared to everything else including alcohol, tobacco, etc..

I myself have asthma and smoking opens up my airways making it easier to breathe with no side effects when medically legalized in my state I look foward to becoming a patient for prescription marijuana. 12 states have already legalized it along with other countries in the world and more following my job is to educate people that are not aware of the plants uses

re-legalize!

-I did most of my research through websites, books, magazines, and the news norml.org high times magazine etc..

  • theres more to it than just getting high and I believe legalizing it would make this a better world to live in

-God bless the whole crop!

  • and for people that dont smoke, you dont need to smoke it to support it

-all the better reason for the government to legalize.. couple reasons why it should be legalized: -will be removed from black market and stop empowering gang members -medical reasons -would be sold like alcohol, remember alcohol was once prohibited too (in stores away from children, have to be 21+) -would be a law that you cant drive while intoxicated on weed -prison population would lower (prisons are overcrowding with nonviolent offenders) -keep patients from being convicted -would provide millions of jobs for people -would make us an independent country (fuel, etc.., debt free america)

people with an addiction (including hard drugs) shouldnt be thrown in jail, they need help theres more people in jail with mental illnesses than there are in mental institutions

the list goes on

  • the War on Drugs is a failure, its a war on its own people. policies need to be changed we pay billions in taxpayers money to keep the war going and neither side is winning thats just a waste of our tax money I wonder what they do with all that money.. those greedy bastards just sell drugs back onto the street, you can even check urself on that there was a time when there was a cia operation transporting drugs overseas into america the government also provided Rick Ross with plenty of heroin to go around, course making money from it

the truth must be exposed, theyre dirty work must stop!

-Of course we can do something about it, we all just need to unite screw the federal government remember slavery? if no one stood up im pretty sure it would still be going on people were tortured, beaten, killed and thrown in jail but that didnt stop them standing up for their rights eventually slavery was abolished same with alcohol prohibition eventually became re-legalized

  • its like theres some kind of conspiracy going on I sense the government is up to no good and trying to control us. credit cards, money, and now they have chips that can be implanted in skin for uselful reasons but if in the wrong hands well were pretty much fuct they hiding the truth from us its dangerous to be right when the government is wrong they got theyre privacy but we dont. they want to know everything were doing on our leisure time

get up stand up!

  • marijuanas not anti-establishment because its illegal, its illegal because its anti-establishment

all facts stated have been double-checked and confirmed want to learn more? norml.org americandrugwar.org hightimes.com flexyourrights.org lets all make this a better place to live in!

Well, if you do too many, you wind up giving a response like the one before me. Avoid this at all costs.

There is a huge collection of substances that branches into many subgroups. For example; there are opiates that are derived from the opium poppy, it acts on your dopamine levels (the chemical you experience whenever you are satisfied with sex, food, etc); and releases it off in a ridiculous amount, thus making you feel the best you ever have in your life, and extremely highly likely of mental addiction then physical addiction, and are often quite dangerous (dying from overdose).

Psychedelics on the other hand work on your perception of the world, and (often in fairly high doses) can have you seeing and hearing things that don’t exist, which can cause fears of insanity, and therefore anxiety and negative, scary feelings, sights, sounds, etc.

Do not do anything without knowing WHAT it is and HOW best to do it, or you can either wind up more terrified than you have ever experienced, death from overdose, or worse – bored.
