What do I do if I drop my iPhone in water?

It still works, the only problem is that the sound doesn’t work because it thinks it’s in headphone mode. I tried putting in my headphones and taking it out, but nothing. :(

what I have been told you are supposed to do with cellphones in general (dont know if its different with iphones) is NOT turn it back on, remove the battery and put the phone and battery in a warm place to dry for a few days.

put in in a bowl of uncooked rice… the rice should suck up the liquid

allow it to dry and hope it still works
