How can I draw like this girl?

There’s this artist that I really love. Her art is fantastic and I love her style–especially her characters and coloring. This is her:

Do any of you know how I could learn to draw or paint like that? If there are any tutorials or something? I think she might have a couple that she’s done but I can’t find them…

I wanted to email her and ask her for tips but I’m too shy and I don’t want to seem dumb to her. :( I know it sounds nerdy but I’m a huge fan of her art.

Well if its digital you need some software like photoshop. But if its traditional then you need some paper and pens or pencils. Start by drawing the outline and main features then detail after. With pens it will be harder so use pencils since they erase easy. Or you could use a picture and some tracing paper.

you shouldn’t feel shy about emailing her for tips. i’m sure she gets things like that all the time and she probably feels honored that people are going to her about that kind of stuff. i would just say if you really want to learn how to create art like her bad enough than go for it and email her
