How to stop crushing on guys w/ talent
Ok I have this problem that I’ve discovered. I act a lot and in almost all plays I am in, there are boys. I have this thing, whenever I meet a guy who can act or sing well, I start to get a huge crush on him, no matter who he is. Like im seriously blinded by their talent. Im in a play right now and the guy main characters are juniors and seniors (im just a freshman) so it would be weird if we went out anyways, like that would happen, but still, im friends with some of them, and I want to know if theres a way to bring me back to reality when im with them. BTW im not exaggerating, like honestly, every guy. Any suggestions?
well, women uysually think older guys have more to give them. this isnt always true. your problem is, you arent seeing deep enough into the guys personality. I would assume most of the guys you fall for look pretty good. you need to talk to a guy you can connect with, one that makes you feel safe and smart. not a guy that can dance or sing. find someone who knows how to make you feel good without trying to get you to like him, someone who is himself when hes around you, not one of his characters. you will not know who this person is right off the bat, but when you find him, you will feel it
