Dogwood trees, how far from the house?

How far away from the side of my house should I plant a dogwood tree?

They can be planted very close, a foot or two is fine. No big root problems :)

There aren’t any root probs with dogwoods. Just plant them and enjoy. I live in zone 9 so I dont have the luxury of their beauty.
