Dogs In Heat

So my female huskie is in heat can she get pregnant by my male huskie mounting her,they have locked once but he mounts her like 20 times a day and I was wondering if she could get pregnant this way..

If they already tied, then she’s probably already pregnant. They don’t have to actually tie, for the female to become pregnant! Count 63 days, from the time they tied, and that’s when you should be expecting puppies. You do need to make sure that she is under a vets care!

Well…YES!! That’s how they do it. If they’ve already tied once, the chances are she’s already pregnant…If you don’t want puppies, then separate them.

well if they lock then there is a good chance of your female to be pregnent. the male will mount the female as many times as the female will alow he will do this to asure that she will be pregnent with his pups.

Absolutely…so long as your male is old enough to breed

It’s typical behaviour…they’ll continue doing this until her heat is finished, and it usually does end up in pregnancy
