if it’s a small cut, you can just clean it with peroxide and wrap it in a clean dressing…a large cut needs a vet
what kind of cut my dog get this swollen cut thing on her paw every year. and i agree with colleen clean it with peroxide and maybe get some healing ointment
dont use peroxide that makes things heal slower.. clean it with soap and water or salt water an then put neosporan on it. thats what the vet would perscribe forlike twenty bucks more than at the store
The trick isn’t in getting it to heal fast - it’s making sure it doesn’t get infected…peroxide prevents infection - soap and salt don’t.
salt would also hurt the dog too, peroxide is the best thing to use
