Dog I found

There is this dog walking around my neighborhood. He seems nice, but it worries me that he is around because I have 3 dogs one who is very small and I dont want them to fight with him. Id like to take him to a vet and maybe keep him if we cant find the owner but where should I take him to see if he is microchipped and how should I approach him?

call a profesinal if is a stray maybe you could buy the dog, but dont aproach it without knowing for sure if it is even if youre like me loving dogs and wanting to help.

It’s a stray, use caution - before anything take him to the Vet for chip ID and/or condition - keep away from the smaller ones for now…Take care !!

I have had the same thing happen there was a dog on the highway I pulled over because it was sooo cute I was going to take to my house with my 3 other dogs but it ran off and I saw that it had a callor but I think it was far away from home because it was on the highway I tried to get into the car but it just kept on running off but anyway my advice to you is get it of the road give it some food and let your little dog get to know it and get your other dogs to know it then you can just keep it instead of taking it to the pound but take it to the vet to see its sex and see if it is healthly hope I help bye

Any Vet has a chip reader…so that’s not a problem…

What’s he like to approach?? Curious?…cautious yet tempted? Scared to death? Can you tempt him with food? What’s his demeanor like?? As long as you are a strong leader, you shouldn’t have a problem integrating him into your furry family…

If you do take him in…Take him and each one of your dogs for a walk…together, one on each side…then take two of yours and him together…integrating is making a pathway in their brains that says…”We are a pack…and THIS lady is our leader”…

You Should take him to any local vet. I think it might be easier if you approached him with food.
