does any one think that dog booties look rediculous?

i personally think their a cute way to keep your pooches paws really toasty.

Answer #1

i think they look stupid

Answer #2

I don’t like them, they look ridiculous and they aren’t needed, dogs have hair.

Answer #3

I think they look cute

Answer #4

I think they’re stupid looking and if dogs needed booties they would’ve been born with them. They can keep their own feet warm.

Answer #5

I don’t approve of treating an animal like a human. Clothes, booties, fur dye, nail painting, eating at the table, etc…They are animals and should be treated like one. You can love an animal, but you shouldn’t love them like you would a human, nor should you love them more than a human. (In my opinion)

Answer #6

I disagree with that. Not the part about animals being treated like humans when it comes to like clothing. I understand that. Just the part that an animal can’t be as loved like a human. That’s like saying animals aren’t nearly as important as any human which I don’t think is true. Any pet can be like your best friend and I think you can love them anymore than you would with a regular person. I think animals and humans can be equal

Answer #7

Let me explain…okay, for example…if a woman has a husband, two kids, and a dog…I don’t think it is right fer her to love her dog more than her own husband, and children (which some people actually do)…buy the dog clothes, and luxury items….and pampering it to death….yet not doing the same to her children, or husband. That is loving an animal more than a human. I don’t believe animals are equal to humans at all. Yes, they are cute and all….and no I don’t like animal abuse, or neglect….but (in my opinion) humans are more important that animals. If I had a choice to either save an animal, or a human being…I would choose the human being. I am not saying animals aren’t important, or they shouldn’t be your “friend”…I am just saying they should be treated like a human, because they are not humans.

Answer #8

should not*

Answer #9

Animals generally don’t need clothes. I frown on this greatly, when people shove their animals into sweaters and crap, just don’t. They can defend themselves from things, they’re animals, it’s what they do. Dog booties might be okay if you’re walking an indoor dog across very hot pavement, but even then, I doubt it.

Answer #10

I don’t think that dogs are there for our decoration. They aren’t supposed to be dressed up, that is what Christmas trees are for.

Answer #11

Where I live, it can get as cold as -50C/-58F….you have two choices when it comes to your dog…keep them indoors and not let them takes walks for several days, or dress them up to handle the extreme climate. Not all dogs are made to handle our cold temperatures - it’s cruel not to take those extra precautions…have you ever seen a dog with frostbitten paws? It’s not pretty and it’s not humane. You may think it looks stupid, but if I put booties on my dog, it’s because I want to protect her…so sue me for being such a bad dog owner.

Answer #12

I don’t agree with all the pet clothes that are on the market, it probably started out with good intentions i.e. dog coats like horse coats for weather extremes. Like everything else, people started to see that there was money to be made by turning what possibly was a sensible market in some extreme cases into a full on fashion parade with big name designers making pet clothes.

Apart from the odd extreme case, i would say that most animals are pretty well adapted to most weather conditions and will usually have or find shelter if they need it.

Answer #13

That I agree with, I don’t like those pet doggy pagents. With use we give the poodles jacket things to keep them warm in winter, because they are so sensitive.
