Dog barking

dogs can see angels and demons supposedly…and they can hear 10x better then humans so they can hear doorbells and car doors slamming…just firmly say no…not loudly…but firmly

That’s how dogs are,mine is doing that right now,try calming her down yourself by playing with her or play wrestle with her in a gentle way. She may stop.

if you do the bark collar thing then I recommend the citronella ones, it is a spray everytime they bark and not a shock. This sounds to me like the dog does not get enough interaction. they need a job they need to be busy and get there excercise, It would help if I knew the breed. I recommend walks, everyday, toys, ball, get all that engery out and your dog will have a happier life.

When dogs bark at random thing or for nothing at all, it’s usually because it’s bored and/or it wants attention. Give your dog more exercise, toys, and things to do.

It’s barking that I use the pop can with the pennies in it…Always allow two free barks…then tell them ENOUGH!!…if she doesn’t stop, toss the can at her…It won’t hurt her, but it sure as he** gets their attention…

I only have to pick the can up, now…and dead silence follow.

I taught my dog the no bark command just as I did with sit and going potty. Secret to any good teachings you want for your dog is to just be consistent. I tell him no bark EVERY time he barks and now if he just can’t help himself and barks he immediately lowers his head after and looks at me like “I COULDNT HELP IT!” lol…but he knows and still I scold him. It worked for me. Oh, and when he is nag nag nagging me I pull the peanut butter kong out that I store in the freezer! LIFE SAVER
