Does the Ghost Rider movie stay true to the comic?

For anyone who saw Ghost Rider, does the plot follow the plot of the comic book? Or do they mess it all up? It got bad reviews so I’m going to wait for it to be on video, but I’m still curious.

yea the movie is very cheesy but it also makes this movie fun and entertaining. ghost rider was never really taken seriously in the comic books till now. so the books were always cheesy and made the idea of ghost rider kind of a joke. yea the movie was pretty close to the comics with the acception of some minor things but all comic book movies are like that. I didnt really think nick cage was good for that role…he wasnt like the johnny blaze I knew from the comics at all. btw, ghost rider is my second favorite comic book superhero!

It’s pretty close to the comic book but very cheesy. It is available in blu ray format though which makes the ghost rider video that much more cool to watch.
