no it doesn't. if the front wheels are on the ground, the wheels still turn, making the numbers on the odometer turn. either trailer it, or don't tow it. Leasing a vehicle is the most expensive thing you can do.
What you could do is get a 300-500 dollar junker and tow that instead.
