Does my rabbit love me?
My six month old netherland dworf rabbit named Rylee likes to run imbatween my feet when I walk. She also licks me when I kiss her, and she rubs herself on me. Is that normal behavior, or does she really like me?
Well Kassie, I’m thinking your bunny really likes you! It’s funny because my chinchilla’s do the same thing to me and OF COURSE they love their mommy! LoL. All 5 of my girls love to gather around “mommy and daddy’s” feet especially when we are trying to walk. There is actually something out there that is called the “Chin shuffle”… A walk that us chinchilla owners do around the little ones. We basically shuffle our feet across the floor without picking them up,so when the little ones hang out under our feet, we shuffle right by them without anyone getting hurt. I guess you’re just gonna have to come up with the “Bunny shuffle” to be safe lol.
Kassie, I think your rabbit loves you to the ends of the earth!!! I don’t know if my rabbit likes me… She runs away from me when I try to pick her up, but I feed her twice a day and play with her an hour (OR MORE) each day. I feed her her favorite foods (carrots, oats, crackers, and pretzels,in case you were wondering), but I feed her regular bunny food so I don’t over spoil her. She isn’t out in the winter cold and she gets a dog cage to lay in and new bedding every week. What am I doing wrong? Email me at kendallwolf97@gmail.com
