Does he want to marry me? (continued)

Thanks for your answer. I should have said we live together. I was so wound up about it last night I decided to try to get him to talk about it. when we firdt met met we had questions and answers with no holds barred we gained so much about each other. So i suggested questions and answers again and yes he brought it up. he started off if I was to propose what would you say I suppose you would say no and i told him I would say yes. When he was ready to ask I would accept. he said well you may ask me and I told him I would never know when the time was right and as he pointed out how does he know. I have told him when he is ready to ask then ask me should I have grabbed the moment or did I handle it right. Sorry you seem to be the most sensible person to give the advice none of my friends seems to care as it takes me off the social scene. ohh and I have two teenagers I am 37 and he is 41

Well it sounds like he is really mulling it over for a lack of a better word… i think you did the right thing, its best not to net him so quickly or catch him up on something so serious just because he is asking you some questions… he wants to know how you feel on the subject because he probably is scared to be rejected from you possibly. Marriage is a big step and he has had to deal with his marriage falling apart before so he just wants to be sure before he takes another step… but i am sure the time will come soon… just hang in there… he is probably just thinking of a creative way to ask you right now….. :)
