There isn’t enough evidence here to suggest to me that he likes you. I have a lot of female friends and I stand close to them, hug them, pick them up, etc all the time, lol. They know that I mean well and know that I have a girlfriend and it is likely that he feels as if you trust him on that particular front. If he ‘is’ actually flirting with you, then that would be a different story, but I can’t detect any flirting from what you have said.

In situations like these though, sometimes it is best to not know whether or not a person likes you. He has a girlfriend and if you were to find out that he liked you, it could lead to you leading him on, etc, which would be a negative thing. Sometimes curiosity and affection/ friendliness can be mistaken/ misinterpreted in this way. For now, you should take a step back and simply see what happens. If it becomes obvious to you that he does have feelings for you, only then should you start to re-assess the situation. until then, let things be :).
