Yes bulimia does work. But Bulimia is a serious Mental issue that many young girls go through. If the weight stays off you, it can depend, because sometimes (if not in most-all cases) vomiting up everything you eat becomes a habit no matter how much or what people tell you you shall continue to do it.Bulimia can cause ulcerations of the esophagus, malnutrition, dehaydration, tooth decay due to stomach acid, digestive disorders, heart disease and death. Sound good? Youll lose weight in the beginning. After a While your Body will use up all the fat stored as energy and youll start gaining weight again. Same affect as Anorexia.

Bulimia basically can

–rot out your teeth, due to the stomach acid in the vomit

–screw up your bodies chemical and electrolyte balance, so that you have mood swings and depression. You’ll never feel thin enough.

–your face may become puffy, due to the glands by your jawline being inflamed by the vomiting

–you can develop heart problems, due to the intense strain your body is under by the frequent vomiting.

–you will have what appears to be under the skin blood spotting by your eyes. This is caused by small blood vessels rupturing by your eyes due to the force of the purging

–erode your esophagus and stomach lining, which can lead to you having ulcers, You can also have your esophagus rupture.

–because you will not get all of the food out of your body, your body will still digest some of the food. As many bulimics frequently binge, you may possibly gain weight from the bulimia.

–many bulimics feel a “high” (probably due to the chemical inbalance) when they purge. The purging can become addictive, where the person does it several times a day.

Proper way to lose weight is Drink lots of Water,Eat 6 SMALL meals a day,Excersize regularly, and cut out the bad stuff ;]

Bulimia will cause you to develop malnutrition, poor oral health, tooth decay, hair loss, brittle nails and skin. Even if it did cause you to lose weight, you would gain it back once you started eating right again. And you will screw up your metabolism. You will die before you accomplish being bulimic forever. At one point you will have to eat normally again and all your weight will come back, if not more. The risks and cons outweigh the benefit of weight loss through bulimia.

If you want to lose weight, you want to burn more calories than you consume through exercise. Even cutting soda and junk food and watching your calorie intake will help shed a few pounds.

Eat five smaller meals a day instead of 2-3 big ones. It’ll help keep your metabolism fast and prevent overeating.

Drink at least 2 liters of water a day.

Take a multivitamin to make sure your body is getting proper nutrients.

Eat within 1 hour of waking Don’t eat within 3 hours of bed.

Question everything you eat! Watch serving sizes and fat content. Eat in moderation.

Calories Burned - Calories Consumed = Calorie Deficit 3,000 calories = 1lb of fat Calorie Deficit of 450 per day = 3150 per week = approx 1lb lost each week.

Hope it helps!
