Does anyone else feel like this about their boyfriends

have any of you every felt like their boyfriends dont make an effort to be with you?..is it all guys,or just mine? we’ve been together four years and we used to do cute things and write letters [were in a long distance relationshiop,I only see him a few times a month] and stuff,but now its like he doesnt put in that extra effort.I know he loves me and whatnot,I just feel like he should be doing more.

thats just how long distance relashionships work a lot of the time. I know mine didnt work out for that reason. and its not just boys either. I moved and a lot of people seemed to back off a bit. I still have some people who I would do anything for but I get that feeling too. it may just be the jealousy of every lucky person who does get to be around them and it just seems like they arent trying hard enough.
