Do you think this is true?

I know exactly where youre coming from… I was with a guy for 2 years and he cheated on me constantly but I loved him to death so I didnt want to believe it and kept with him. as soon as I got out of the relationship, I made a promise to myself that I was never going to let another guy get that close to me so I wouldnt get hurt like that again. A year later I started dating another guy, he was a complete 180 of the first one. He loved me with all of his heart, I loved him too but no matter how hard I tried I just couldnt let him all the way in. After 2 1/2 years we finally broke up, and I realized how much I truelly love him and I just wish I could have known then what I know now. My best advice to you, is to let people in your life, dont be scared of getting hurt. When you dont let people in especially someone that wants to love you, youre only hurting yourself
