Do you need a doctor's prescription for birth control?

I’ve never had sex before and after going through a lot of thinking I have decided to be sexually active. The only problem is that I don’t want to have sex with just using a condom,I need to use birth control pills too.The problem is I heard that you need to have a doctor’s prescription to obtain that.SInce I live in indonesia which is kind of conservative place more or less.It would just seem very disrespectful on my part to a cliic and ask for such things when it is clearly stated in my ID that I am not married. I am so confused…I wonder how every other unmarried people have sex in my country. All my friends are the ‘’no sex before marriage’”type. It is hard to confide my problems to them. And MY parents are out of the question. SO can anybody help me with my dillemma?Thank you.

No,

Simply go to the health dept. or call and ask for a clinic in your area and they give it to you for free. Not only pills, patches and the shot. Without your parents knowing.

just say it’s to regulate your periods… I’m here if you need help. I’m the person who wants to wait for marrage but many of my friends arent and they have had sex. It’s a good idea that your going to be more pertective in your actions. I believe you need one unless you can go to the store and get those but they probaly dont work as well as the perscribed ones.
