Do it yourself hair dying

I asked this question..but some people said to go to a hairstylist. My mum said that I would have to pay for it if I did the stylist way. And I only have 5$. Soo..

How do you dye your hair from a dark brown to a platinum blonde your self?

If you have really dark hair, it’s really hard on your hair to go that light. You could burn your hair and then you would be really disappointed. Why not just lighten it a little? Sorry but $5 is just not going to be enough and plus you will have upkeep on it. You will need to do a touch up every 6 weeks. So think about that too before you do anything.

Also your local high school may have a cosmetology class that will do it for you. I know at my daughter’s school they are always looking for people to work on!

$5 isnt going to get you hair dye unfortunately. You’re going to need atleast $15-20 and if you dont want to pay for a hair salon, you could look for some cosmetology schools around you, they need to practise and will do it a lot cheaper. They have supervisors around incase something goes wrong…

Hi you can also try a home highlight kit and do lots of them this may be a little easier on your hair.
