Do cold & flu tablets actually work?

Hey guys, I have a bad cold, it’s driving me nuts. My nose is running like a tap, I feel tired, I have a headache and my throat is dry and hurts. I usually just suffer through it until I get better but I know that some people feel the need to buy cold/flu tablets. I’ve always been skeptical that they do you any good - do they work? Will they make me better? Or should I just toughen up and stop complaining :)

The new antiviral medications do actually work. Most of the over the counter stuff is a waste of money.
