Disneyland or disney world?

Is disneyland calif. As good as disneyword florida? Im going to disneyland soon and I was just wondering what all there is to do there and if it is as good as disneyworld?

I’ve been going to Disney World every year for as long as I can remember. (Probably when I was a toddler.) It’s funny, because it can sort of turn back the time, so that you turn into the “child” in you. I’m serious, I couldn’t stop myself from going onto the Winnie the Pooh ride! It’s full of never-ending entertainment, and (I don’t mean to be rude, fawkesfire) the stress actually DOES melt away. I completely forget about all of the school assignments and chores waiting for me at the end of the trip. Once a year, I focus on now instead of the past or the future. Some awesome and really cool stuff at Disney World — Interactive objects! This sounds kind of weird, but in one visit to Magic Kingdom, (specifically in “Futureland” I think that’s what it’s called) but I saw a TALKING TRASH CAN!! Its name was “Push” (you know, the Push sign on the trash can?? lolz). There’s also a palm tree near the entrance to Animal Kingdom called “Wes Palm.” lololz!! — Epcot’s fireworks show! It’s amazing!! There’s a globe that floats in the middle of the lake… but I don’t want to ruin it for anyone! — This is a second one about Epcot, but you also HAVE to go around the countries! It’s COMPLETELY AWESOME!!! Especially China and Japan! In Japan (either that or China, haha) I found the cuteset little lucky cats! I used to carry one around with me all the time, but I lost it! :( And in China, I bought some DELICIOUS Chinese cola candy! I had to stop myself from eating the whole bag on the same day! There is also some yummy foreign foods that they serve in the different country areas! I remember especially liking the Mexican foods!

Disneyland is the original Disney theme park. It was built back in 1955 (Disney World opened in 1971).

Disneyland is much, much smaller than Disney World. Here are the basic facts:

Disneyland Resort Anaheim, CA 2 theme parks (Magic Kingdom, California Adventure) 3 hotels (Disneyland Hotel, Paradise Pier, Grand Californian) Downtown Disney shopping area

All of the hotels and theme parks are within 5 minute walk.

Walt Disney World Orlando, FL 4 theme parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom) 2 water parks (Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon) 20+ hotels Downtown Disney (3 times larger than Disneyland’s version)

WDW is spread out over an area the size of Manhattan, and you must use the monorail, buses or cars to get from one place to the next.

So – one is not necessarily better than the other. Disneyland was the only theme park that Walt Disney ever stepped foot in (WDW opened after he died).

WDW is bigger, and has more attractions, etc.

Disneyland is amazing, I went there a while ago and its great. I am going to Disney World soon, I can’t wait!

DISNEYLAND IS AMAZING. I WENT THERE A WHILE BACK BECAUSE I WAS VISITING MY FAMILY IN CALI. I’VE HEARD IT’S BIGGER THAN DISNEYWORLD. BUT I don’t know. I DEFINETLY RECCOMEND DISNEYWORLD. =]] HAVE FUN.

Disneyland offers a smaller, more managable area to cover, so you’re more likely to do all the things you want to do and not feel overwhelmed…the lines are not as insane…and because it’s smaller Disneyland tends to focus on the little details that make the park quite charming…I work for Disneyland in management and I have been to Disneyworld…while Disneyworld is fun, it can be very hectic if you have a number of things you wish to get done…I prefer the smaller park because it allows for a more relaxing, stress free visit…
