Could I have dislocated my shoulder?

Today in gym we were playing basketball and I was going for the ball with another kid. He was trying to pull it away by pulling up and I was pushing down and when that happened I heard my shoulder pop along with some other sounds I can’t really describe. After that happened I couldnt really move my arm too much. After about a minute my shoulder popped again but this time it made me feel better and I got control of my arm back. Right now it’s throbbing(not really bad just annoying) and it gets stiff and can be hard to move.

Yep, you could have and you probably did. I have a friend whose shoulders does that. I suggest going to a doctor, just to check it out. You might have damaged more than you think.

Answer #2

Go to a doctor and get it checked.Maybe keep some ice on it for the time being and take some pain killers as well.Try not to sleep on that side.

Answer #3

It could be, but then again it could not be, best thing to do is to just go to the doctor to be on the safe side.
