What's DirectX 9.0 Runtime?

I’m installing Autocad 2010 and it said “make sure DirectX 9.0 Runtime is installed”.But I couldn’t find it in the installer package.how do I get it?

I am pretty sure DirectX is a video support runner. I have it and it is good for video effects and stuff. This is just like adobe flash player or something.Just look it up on Google and it will take you to the website nad download the latest DirectX, that should deal with your problem.

DirectX is made by microsoft and is needed to run multimedia and gaming software on Windows.

Here is how you get DirectX. But more than likely is already installed in your computer as default since it comes with Windows. The installer that you download will verify what version of DirectX you have and then decide how big of a file you need to update to the latest version. it comes with the operating system XP and above so dont worry about it, you already have it.

its also updated via windows update so just do it from there if it needs updating.

Download and install Latest version of DirectX. If problem still occurs then follow these steps:

  • Reinstall Windows Script,
  • Repair Windows Script File Information in Registry,
  • Reregister Concerning File,
