What is the difference between regular sugar and splenda?

Splenda is another kind of sweetener… I don’t know much about it but I’ve heard that its much worse than sugar.
Splenda is a sweetener made from sugar. Splenda is a synthetic chemical compound that scientists discovered while doing work on pesticides. Some say its chemical compound is close to table salt or sugar others say it is more close to pesticide. There are plenty claims on it being bad for the human body but nothing absolute.
