is there a difference between a debit card and a credit card?

Answer #1

Yes. A debit card is linked to your bank account and takes money out of your bank account when you pay with it. A credit card will add up and keep record of whatever purchases you make within the period and then the company will charge you at the end of a period sending you a bill to pay off your charges by whatever means you wish and the credit card company allows.
