What is the difference between cute and handsome? Just curiosity.

‘Cute’ can go for all sorts of things, like a pair of pants, a kitten or a person. With handsome you’re not normally like; “That kitten is so handsome”. Cute can describe almost anything and handsome is usually used to describe an attractive man.

Cute is more boyish, handsome more manly. That is my definition of it.

Well, I find that those two words are used rather interchangeably. However, I guess, cute would describe a man who is boy-like while handsome would describe a more masculine man. However, I find myself using them both to mean handsome or attractive.

I think cute is like looks and personality and handsome is just looks. Like, seeing a good liking guy who I don’t know I could say he’s handsome, but like if I could call my boyfriend cute because he’s good looking and has a cute personality. Everyone’s definition is different. In general though, cute is boyish and handsome is more manly.

My definition of the two terminology are: Cute, can be ugly but adore, they have something appealing but may not be the best looking person. Their personality or behaviour could make the person cute…. Handsome, is someone who has been blessed with good looks, body and just looks damn sexy.

Cute is what you call boys, handsome is what you call men

cute is a boy who looks after themself (in example; hairgel, eyebrows plucked, shaved) etc. handsome is more of a natural but looked after look. my boyfriend, shaves but doesnt put gel in his hair so to be he is handsome. he wears jeans and trackies etc so i think he looks hot. whereas some boys do their hair ALL the time and wear skinny and tight jeans etc. thats the difference to me:)
