Did I send my fax the right way?

I just faxed two important papers for the first time. I want to know that I did it right. So here’s what I did: I dialed the # I was sending the papers to, put the paper in and pressed “Start.” Then the machine scanned the paper. It gave me an option like “Flatbed Fax: Next Page? Yes, or No(Send).” I selected “Yes,” though I had no idea what that meant. I heard the dial tone, ringing and that fax noise. So I dialed the # again, scanned the next page, and when the option came I chose No(Send). Because that sounded right. Then I heard the a pause, and the very same noises again. Did I do it right?

Hi happything4eva, I figure out you have a problem sending fax. This is the usual scenario when you send faxes the traditional way. The latest development of faxing which is online faxing eases all this trouble. The process with online faxing is just like sending an email. This ones very cost effective too. Report is then sent to you confirming the status of your fax. www.internetfax101.com hope can help.

Yes, it sounds like you did it right, as long as the fax you sent had the content side facing the right way. Usually, you get a print out of if it was successful (or not)…and, you can also call to double check they received the fax.

In some shared office environments, faxes end up on the wrong desk…so, it never hurts to follow up :)
